Meeting was called to order at 2.05pm.
Minutes of the April meeting was accepted as written.
Scott reported that we are currently have exceeded our maintenance
budget due to repair work done on water line and electrical work done on
lights. Scott also reported on the miscellaneous maintenance items
at BC pool:
1) light fixture in men's bath house to be replaced
2) shower head in ladies bath house replaced
3) men's urinal fixed as well as can be (possible sign about flushing
only once)
4) will complete power washing of deck as time permits
Discussion on the work performance of "Pool Guy". Scott has
discussed with him all of what we expect to be done by them.
Scott has also installed new light switches in bath houses that
automatically turn on/off when someone enters/exits the room.
OLD BUSINESS
American Pools has completed their contract and cleaned up plaster on
lane tiles and final payment has been sent.
Report from John Reiner and Chris Harris regarding pergola.
The pergola is structurally sound. It needs to be clean and
restained, hopefully this year.
We are still without a volunteer to be Vice-Chairman. Fred will
make some calls to see if anyone is interested.
NEW BUSINESS
An updated Pool Contact List has been posted at the BC pool.
Discussion was held on suggestion by Sada that we investigate the
possibility of placing tile over the exposed cinder blocks at the base
of the walls in the bath houses to protect the block from further
deterioration.
Kathryn is to explore possibility of swimming lessons be taught at the
BC pool this summer.
Sharon reported that the budget process for next year has started.
She and Sada plan to meet with Joe Caporossi (HOA Board Financial
Liaison) to work on budget.
Fred is going to make some calls to see if he can locate the umbrellas
that needed to be repaired.
Comments regarding the Pool Attendants have all been positive.
