Dock master Report

Bob reported that the main electrical power circuit  breaker for the docks had been thrown the night before; reason was unknown.
The new back splash behind the sink in the marina lounge ended up costing $225 for materials.  The CLYC has agreed to pay for this.  The labor was volunteered by members of the MMC under the leadership of Bruce Jarvah and Barry Barwatt.
The new sink pump costs $25.
Bob has been in contact with two out of the four other marinas that have the Sullivan dock system.  There were no notable issues to report; he will document his findings after talking to all four marinas.

Financial Report - - Nothing was reported since the treasurer was not in attendance.

Marina Maintenance Committee - - Minutes from the 7/8/08 meeting were reviewed.

Old Business

The new web site was discussed.  Jim agreed to follow up with a couple of suggested minor changes.
A second follow-up letter has been sent to Sullivan by Bruce Jarvah.
A note will be sent to all slip owners with respect to the need to exercise extreme caution when doing dock side fueling, that the use of bikes on the docks is no longer permitted and that anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult when on the docks.
It was also agreed that specific slip owners will be notified and requested to be cost conscious when running their onboard A/C units.

New Business

After discussion, it was decided to remove the dummy camera monitoring sign from the docks.
It was also agreed that the removal of floating logs will be the responsibility of the marina.
