The meeting was called to order on 11/14/07 at 7:00pm
by Chairman Douglas Smith. Members present were: Douglas Smith,
Chairman; Mara Graves; Ingrid Butler; Catherine Good; Jerry McGrath;
Frank Garrod; Pat Fitzgerald; Donna Wagner and Marcia Stasch, secretary.
New members were announced and they are Jeff Gould, Jan Lamoreaux, Barb
Smith, Pat Fitzgerald and Catherine Good.
Bar report was given by Frank Garrod indicated problems with the ice
machine and soda dispenser. The profits for October were only 40% which
is difficult to understand. A request will be made to have the Nov
report completed on the 29th to reveal if there are any continuing
problems.
Recycling of bottles will be required beginning the first of Jan., 08.
We are awaiting word from the waste handler as to their requirements.
Annual inventory has been completed.
New Business: A discussion was held concerning the bar being open on
Christmas Eve. It will be open from 5pm to 9pm for those who may wish to
share the time.
Building and Grounds master gardeners will place soil test kits and
sheets for suggested plants for landscaping where room is available near
the HOA office if the HOA Board approves.
Other business: Lights in the library, can they be added or improved
upon. Doug will discuss with Tomi. Question about how private parties
are handled in the weekly schedule by HOA. It w3as the feeling of the
committee that the present procedure is appropriate i.e. "closed for
private party" Adjourned at 7:50 pm
