"The BCOC reviewed the ABC laws regarding private
clubs and updated our rules so that we are compliant with the legal
requirements of the State of North Carolina. The rules governing
the operation of the Bay Club bar reflect those of the State and include
additional rules set by the CLHOA. The bar is currently making a
slight profit. A monthly accounting is kept of bar income and expenses.
A larger sink was installed in the bar this past year to aid in
clean-up.
The committee performed the annual inventory of Bay Club furnishings and
twice-annual inventory of kitchen and bar items and replaced those items
needed. The BCOC approved the request from the Arts Committee to feature
a "Resident Artist of the Month" and provide an area for display of the
artist's works.
